MONDAY - OCT 30
Kick-start, Research, Ideate
Participants are introduced to the Urban Challenges of Sydhavnen (the south harbor), a fast-changing industrial urban area, which will serve as the location of the workshop. They will be introduced to artists, designers, architects, small companies, social institutions and homeless people – each with their own urban challenge in a fast-changing neighborhood. Participants are introduced to Urban Tools that help us research, map information and collect data on the area.
TUESDAY - OCT 31
Feedback, Develop, Prototype
Participants review the ideas to address Urban Challenges together – finalise concepts and create teams. The teams work on prototypes. USE and stakeholders in Sydhavnen will be available throughout the day to develop and finish, and test the prototypes. Participants document the process and prototype and start working on the friday expo.
WEDNESDAY - NOV 1
High-level talks, co-creative activities
Participants will engage in Creativity World Forum. On wednesday CWF presents top creative minds like Tom Kelley. He is the general manager and partner at the renowned design and innovation consultancy IDEO. Participants will engage in challenges in the city of Aarhus and use creative skills to interpret future societal issues.
THURSDAY - NOV 2
High-level talks, co-creative activities
Participants will engage in Creativity World Forum. On thursday CWF presents top creative minds like Steve Vranakis. He is the Executive Creative Director at Google. Participants will engage in challenges in the city of Aarhus and use creative skills to interpret future societal issues.
FRIDAY - NOV 3
Showcase your skills
Friday there will be an exhibition inspired by the process, the new knowledge and all the skills that the participants have gained. The prototypes from Sydhavnen will be merged with knowledge from the conference and showcased in the EXPO-area for the Creativity World Forum.
